Once a Harvard graduate “businessman” was interviewed about his failed business venture. He said they were doing great in all departments – company culture, parties etc. – except for sales. The only reasonable reaction to this would be “Dear mother of God!” or “Epic Fail!” and a good old facepalm.

Clik here to view.Sales. That’s all that matters. Everything is put in place for sales. I don’t mean to say that in a greedy way, but that’s obviously the truth. The better you serve your customer and the better quality product you sell, the more repeat customers you will have and your average customer lifetime value will be shooting up because they just buy whatever you put out there, whether you created the product or not. It’s their trust in you that makes them buy what you recommend. Now, once someone has bought something from you, it is usually very easy to sell more stuff to them. The real challenge is getting them in at the first door, at the “porch” of your business. The following techniques are meant to make that part easier.
1. Ironically I’m doing number one with this blog post and I’m pointing it out for you to be aware and truly learn this. #1 is to Add value without the expectation of getting anything back.
The best kind of value is the one that solves your target market’s most severe and common problems.
Here are some great forms of delivering value:
– Write an informative/inspirational blog post with insights.
– Shoot a video, sharing some useful business tips.
– Release a free Ebook on the topics of your niche.
– Write an awesome email broadcast.
Give value before someone even pays for your product. This is probably the most basic pillar of “attraction marketing”.
Luckily giving value takes learning and doing from your part, pushing you further toward mastering your craft. Doing this consistently makes you rich, but few do so. It requires discipline and strong intent for success.
2. Get in front of the camera. Whether regularly or from time to time, but you must do this. You only become a so called real person in the eyes of your prospects once they have seen you on video. Written material has the advantage to express things sharper and in great depth, while video – despite being less thought out and more random – communicates the vibes behind the message and usually creates greater trust and a sense of familiarity.
3. Make yourself accessible. Allow prospects to reach out to you via email, phone, Facebook, Skype etc.. Don’t just do it for the heck of it, but if they do contact you, care about them and follow up with them. This builds transparency, and that is one of the biggest boosting factors in sales.
4. Create a USP, aka Unique Selling Proposition. In simpler terms, offer bonuses. It doesn’t have to be a big thing if you don’t have the resources and monetary advantage yet. It can be really basic like a free one on one consultation (that’s mine for Pro Package iPas 2 affiliates), a report on something business related or whatever else you can come up with as long as it is valuable in the eyes of the prospect.
5. Collect powerful testimonials. In the beginning phase of your business you won’t be able to wield some big, undisputed social proof, but no worries. At least not social proof that is directly related to your performance and expertise, but just the credentials of your business opportunity. Start by asking testimonials from people who simply like you. The dot com mogul, John Chow said it and that’s where I got this advice. So simple, but some people are just uptight about it until a huge credible name comes along and tells it.
6. Hold webinars. Again, many newbies feel that they are insignificant in this industry to have the right to start holding webinars. That’s B.S.. You should have started right after generating your first few leads. Show a solution for some problem live, hammering value minute after minute and then make a pitch at the very end. Google Hangouts allows you to host webinars without having to pay a dime.
7. Have automated income producing activities. This basically means firing off an ad campaign and letting it run while you go about doing other things in your life. You’ll have to check your campaigns occasionally to be able to tweak – cut off what is not working and scale up what is working. It’s because of this, that one can make money in their sleep.
8. This one is a bonus principle: Have posture. Don’t be needy, don’t be attached to the outcome. Act like a professional even before you are one. When Bruce Willis got his first major role, his secret was acting like he didn’t need the role at all.
Following all of these 8 techniques will get you into massive profit if you sell the right products and you are consistent enough.
